BEHIND THE LENS

Leonardo Claudio Jr.

Made in Brooklyn.

Founder, CEO, Head Photographer

The seed to become a photographer was planted when I was very young.

My father and I were touring an aircraft carrier, and he took a photo of me in front of a jet. Right after, I took a photo of him. After the film developed, my mother said to my Dad that I took better photos than he did. From that moment on it was not only the film that developed but my passion for photography as well.

As I grew older I began to develop an understanding of the mechanics of the camera. I worked on school newspapers and yearbooks, and any function that allowed me to use a camera.

After my first semester at St. Lawrence University, I bought my first DSLR, and completed internships with Marco Pedde Photography and New York Amsterdam News.

Since founding Leographic Photography in 2014, I've provided more than 30 music artists with full scene photography for their major tours, including for Robin Shultz, Of Mice and Men and Kygo, at NYC venues including Mysteryland Festival, Pacha and Webster Hall.

I have also helped numerous individual clients realize their personal brand with the right headshot, and shot weddings, proms, fashion and theatre events.
